Document Preparation

For a variety of reasons, clients may not want to retain an attorney, but want to make sure their forms and documents are prepared correctly and professionally.

Brett A. Gilman prepares the forms and documents the same as if he was representing you, except the documents will be in your name.

While meeting with you and preparing the forms and documents Mr. Gilman will educate and inform you as to the law, the courts, the different processes involved, and explain your options. He will charge his hourly rate for his time. Total cost varies depending on the documents being prepared and the time needed.

Document and form preparation includes, but is not limited to all aspects of a dissolution of marriage, custody, support, paternity, hearing and trial setting and preparation, protective and restraining (DV) orders, guardianships and conservatorships.

Additionally, Mr. Gilman will provide document and form preparation for simple probate petitions, Declarations, and Affidavits, and affidavits of Death of joint tenant or trustee.
